I write poetry from time to time - I actually had one published! I only write when the mood strikes. I'm a very good cook - and I only cook when the mood strikes too ... hahaha. I saved a life once - so I guess I was once a hero, I received the key to the city for that. It was a very small key for a very small town. lol - funny but true. If you'd like to hear that story - just ask.I enjoy golf when time permits - I actually had a hole in one a couple years ago - truth is, it was purely accidental, but isn't it always?I love music and enjoy having a man twirl me around the dance floor. I've taken tango and salsa lessons - loads of fun! I also love dancing to country and cajun music. 2-step, Waltz, Jitter Bug....take your pick!I've raised 3 children and enjoy visiting my grandchildren as often as possible - makes it a bit harder considering they're all scattered in different directions. I have a son in Louisiana, a daughter in Texas, and one in North Carolina (for now). Sure wish they all lived closer, it's not so much fun to be all alone in this empty house.Sunsets, quiet evenings on the porch, slow rains, a glass of wine, and a good smelling man are what make me purr - if only I could have them all at the same time I'd be in heaven!
I've lived longer than I ever expected - and if you ask me - that's a HUGE accomplishment! LOL
