I just started working for Domino's Pizza on May 1.  Before that, I worked at a car dealership in Sulphur.  I've been a notary for almost 5 years.  My first job, as a teenager, was mowing people's yards.  I've always liked cars and--for the last 3 or so years, I've been a "Pickup Man".  That's why I got the job at the car lot and I really wish it would have worked out better than it did.   I play piano and guitar.  I'm not that good with guitar so I just play my guitar at my house.  But I play the piano at church and other events.  I listen to country music most of the time, but there's a few other kinds of singers that I really like.  For example, Hilary Duff and James Blunt.I used to spend a lot of time fretting about bad choices I made earlier in life.  I used to spend a lot of time hoping and praying for a miracle--that I would somehow suddenly wind up with a wife, kids, Suburban, and a house of my own.I did get a miracle, but it was a different kind of miracle than I expected.  God gave me contentment with what I have.  And a lot more common sense with money than what I have before.  And I'm proud to say that I now have a paid-off truck in the garage (yes, in the garage, it barely fits) and 3 paid-off credit cards in my wallet.

Number OneThis is a MUSTShe must be friendly and approachable and down-to-earth.  Even in the case of a stunningly beautiful girl, I WILL NOT (I said I WILL NOT) make any exceptions here.Number TwoShe must be interested in me, not just my wallet.  I had two ex-girlfriends (from the same family) who were both very nervy about asking me to buy them things.  Desperate for love and to be loved, I said yes to most of their requests.  After I gave (that's right, gave) the last one an old car worth almost $3000, she dumped me for an older guy.  Next thing I know, I'm seeing my old 91 Buick running around Sulphur with some raunchy looking dude, that I don't even know, driving it.I'm not gonna go through that again.Number 3She must look reasonably attractive.  Not all women were blessed with the size and shape of, say, Angelina Jolie or Reese Witherspoon.  But I think a girl can make herself look as good as possible by wearing clothes that bring out her best features, making good use of makeup and jewelry, and most importantly, keep a smile on her face.
