Hello from Louisiana.  Describe myself...hmmmmmmmm, that's kinda' hard to do.  I'm a 70 year old happily divorced lady who loves life and has fun at just about anything I do.  Love friends, family,  my poodles, helping folks, and my job at a local museum.  Friends seem to love to be around me, but then, they are my friends!!!  I meet others easily and enjoy acting in community theater.  Not lazy, but I do have my "let's sit a spell" moments!!  Retired postmaster (no, I never did "go Postal!!")  Love dining out, going to the theatre, a nice glass of wine, riding a 4-wheeler with my kids (as a passenger of course), traveling, learning new things, making jewelry and teaching...just to mention a few. When the mood strikes me, I like to read a good book...also love to dance and have cookouts with friends.  Need to exercise, but I don't.  Could stand to lose a few pounds, but that's not happening right now either. I'm uncomplicated and not into drama.  Seeking a soulmate who can relate to me and with whom I can identify.  Like a strong man who is decisive and can take charge without being overbearing. He must be able to laugh easily and not be too uptight about things...is that person you??  I am truthful,healthy, have never smoked, drink a glass of wine when I want to, a good listener, very supportive, and I make a great cup of coffee!!
I am seeking a man who lives near Shreveport, Louisiana (or at least who can travel here without much time spent doing so).  If you are one who lives more than about 200 miles from here, please do not contact me.  Long distance "romances" are just too hard to maintain.  I'd love to be able to spend time with my "soul mate," but if he lives so far away that we must spend hours driving to meet, that is not a  "good thing!!"  Sorry.....that's just the way it is.

Is this bragging...or what?  Not a fun part of the profile, but here goes.  Have been a motivational speaker and teacher for the Postal Service, received several awards for acting in local community theatre in recent years, reared 3 great children (almost single handed due to divorce) who have increased our family by 5 grands and 5 great grands(!!),and have pretty much made my way in life by applying natural skills and training to perform duties of my positions.  There....that just about says it all!!

I am seeking a man who will fill that empty spot in my heart...a self-assured man who knows what he wants and goes for it!!  A fun personality is a must...seems we all take life much too seriously these days.  My mate would have many of his own interests but would also like doing some things together as a couple, such as cooking out, going dancing, to the theatre, trips with friends, etc.  I love a family-oriented person who knows what is important in this life and where his priorities should be.  He would be faithful, caring, fun-loving, and helpful and could expect these same traits in me.  Perhaps I will meet that special man here on True!!
