I was raised Catholic up North, yeah another Yankee transplant, and this past October, met up with a Methodist congregation, looking to do some volunteer work, due to a pending divorce. I have been developing  my relationship with God since then, and have been blessed with this opportunity. Divorce is official, and it has been a tough year, and would be lying if I said the past is all behind me. My focus is the future, not today or yesterday, and with church, and study groups, I am OK where I am. I do have a 14yr old daughter, which is the world to me, and she is with me 2 weeks on, and 2 weeks off. 

I have done a lot of things in the past, partied, traveled the US, and then played the family man, and yes, I had made some mistakes. I am ready for friends, and in time, that special someone that know what the vow means, 'Til death do we part.

It's been 14 months since I  have been alone with a woman, other than church functions, after a 14 year marriage, I am a bit nervous about starting again. Easy does it.
