I am 32 years old.  I am a single father.  I have a 6 year old daughter who is the most important thing in my life right now outside of God.  I have never been married, but I still feel like my time is coming.  I like reading, shopping, and I like eating out.  I am more of a bar and grill type of fun person.  The club scene does not do it for me anymore.  T hat does not mean I cant be a fun person.  I think I an very enjoyable company.  I am smart and find myself to be fairly intelligent.  I have recently started going back to college.  I am in pursuit of my bachelors first and then I want to go for my masters.  I am very easy to get along with and I am faithful in all of my endeavours.  I just want to find true happiness.  I want to find the perfect person for me.  There is no such thing as a perfect person so I just want to find my partner and soul mate.  The person who I can make fall in love with me and vice-versa.  Are you out there?

I  served in the Louisiana Army National Gaurd for six years of my young life as well as Desert Storm.  After that I went to school for a couple of years until I had my first and only child.  After that I have been pretty much a working person.  I worked for Home Depot as a manager for a couple of years and then the same for Lowes and now I work for a GM subsidiary company and the job is awesome.  I am very involved in my church and I voulonteer with a youth justice group and I coach a church b-ball team.  I also work with the Girl Scouts.  And most importantly I am doing a good job at raising a very bright and talented and smart child.  She is truly a blessing to me and I am going to do my best by her always.  Also the fact that I have started going back to college in search of my Bachelor's degree in Political Science.

I use to have this picture in my head about this perfect person and that is probably why I am still single.  I just want someone who shares some of the same interests as myself, but she has to be an individual.  No insecure women.  I have gone through that and it is not cool.  Independent but dependent at the same time.  I hope that makes sense.  Beautiful inside and out.  Smart and witty.  A woman who likes children as I have a daughter.  A kind and gentle person sums it up.
