I’m a recent college graduate from Salem Sate College. I majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and a Minor in Communications. Art has been an important part of my life since I was in elementary school. I spend a good part of my spare time painting, drawing, jewelry making, working with polymer clay, and making other odd crafts for friends and family. Some of my favorite artists are Brian Froud, Terry Moore, Chris Sanders, and Gil Elvgreen. I love music, especially metal. When I get the chance I love to see some of my favorite bands and artists in concert like Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, David Bowie, The Dresden Dolls, and Rob Zombie. My iPod is filled with a huge variety of genres of music from folk, to R& B, to cheesy pop from the early 90’s and 80’s. Since 1996 I’ve been volunteer coaching for Special Olympics for soccer, basketball, track & field, floor hockey, and ten pin bowling. Currently I have a full time job working as a developmental specialist in a dayhab program for adults with special needs. I also work part time as an art specialist, counselor, and volleyball coach for a recreational program for individuals with special needs from the age of 6 to 60 and I’ve been with them since 2001. Occasionally, I also work as a pca to a 16 year old boy with autism.
