I believe that people really are intrinsically good, and that love really does conquer all. My preferred mode of transportation is a stickshift – because let's face it, driving an automatic is just sitting in a moving box. To me, Christmas is the most romantic time of the year. I tend to ruin funny stories that I don't know well enough to tell, just because I want to share them. I really, really dislike fluorescent lights, and I'll sooner sit and read in the dark or near-dark than turn on the light in my dorm room. I have a thing for fedoras. One of my favourite feelings is curling up under a blanket with a great piece of Arthurian literature; another is cuddling with an animal that loves you. I spell the words 'favourite,' 'colour,' and 'amoeba' thusly, but am still undecided on 'programme' and 'oestrogen.' I swing dance, even though I kind of suck. I like to speak with a British accent because it's the only one I can do well.

I don't like to brag about myself!  I suppose I'm your typical college student with too much on her plate -- taking 21 credits whilst balancing an on-campus job, stage managing last semester, and being vice president of the swing dance club -- oh, and don't forget the 16-hour-per-week noncredit EMT course.  But I'm quick to make time for people that I care about, even if that means procrastinating horribly -- which I do frequently.

I like a guy who has a level head on his shoulders, someone who would save a kitten from a tree or spend an afternoon squiring his housebound grandmother around town. Looks are icing on the cake, but really, I'm looking for someone with whom I can set a friendship on fire.
