I'm finally at that point in my life that I realize that YES, I can stand on my own two feet. Adversity can come a knockin' and nothing will knock me down. Your faith, humor, love and good friends/family will get you through the most trying of circumstances.
I believe that you always need to maintain a positive attitude. Lord knows that's a really tough thing to do some days, but I do try.
I enjoy doing volunteer work. Every Thanksgiving, my children and I volunteer at a friend's church to cook and serve Thanksgiving Dinner to people that ordinarily wouldn't have anyone to spend the holiday with.
I'd like to meet someone who enjoys long walks, varied activities and is not afraid to learn something new. I'd like to meet someone who doesn't have to spend every weekend watching sports on TV. I enjoy getting out and seeing things, from historical sites & museums to restaurants & movies. I like walking, find me a beach or a great wooded trail....... I need honesty, compassion and adventure. I'm looking for a true friend and companion.
