I am a single mom of two teenagers who are the world to me and its been the three of us for the last 16 years. By my own decision, I put my kids first and spent my time with them...until this year when both said it was time for me to meet someone special. Fantastic kids, don't you think?I love the outdoors...the beach, the ocean, the mountains and anything to do with being outside.  Gardening, yard work, working on my home, dancing and romantic walks are other things that I enjoy very much. I rollerblade, hike, bike and cross country ski.  Love to cook and bake and spend time inside when the weather is too cold. Spending time with my kids, family and friends is also important to me.I am a romantic at heart and love to show people that I care about how I feel about them.I work in a nursing home and have for the last 8 years.  This past September I returned to school part time and am loving every second of it!My friends would say that I am honest, trustworthy, shy until you get to know me, funny, have a great sense of humor and wear my heart on my sleeve. My accomplishments?? Lets see, I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught for 10 years and then decided that I wanted to do something else, so I became a CNA and have been doing that for the last 8 years. But now I can reach for my other dream and that meant going back to school, which I have. But my most successful accomplishment is raising two wonderful young adults....both do well in school, sports and other activities and are going to be wonderful, well rounded adults. They are a joy to be around and they mean the world to me!!

Honesty, trust and communication are first and foremost on my list and which mean a great deal to me. Someone who is romantic and thinks the little things that are done for him or that he does are important. Someone who is stable in their career as well as with themselves. Funny and a great sense of humor are a must but can also be serious when the need arises. Looks are important but it is what is inside that counts the most, so having a wonderful personality is a plus! I would like to share some of the same interests but would also hope that we could both share some of our own with each other as I am planning on going white water rafting next summer. Someone who is emotional stable and does not play games with someone else's feelings as this is a huge turnoff.
