I am a very independent and take-charge person.  I want to build a life out of what I love most: dance, singing, art, trying adventurous new things, and sharing all of this with wonderful people I meet along the way.  I've come to realize lately that all of these things really mean nothing if you've got no one to share them with.  Making true connections with people and making sure they know how much they mean to you every single day is absolutely the most important thing in the entire world!  I started taking dance classes when I was 16, and knew a few months into it that I needed to make a life out of it.  I earned a bachelor's degree in dance, working my a** off alongside people who'd been dancing since they were toddlers.  It was intimidating at times, but I was always able to come back to center and realize that I was doing it for my own inner reasons.  Now I am teaching and trying to put together a small repertory company.

Oh jeez.  Well, someone funny, honest, kind, with the ability to care deeply.  Someone who can express herself and tell me like it is (and I promise I'll do the same!).  Artistic inclination is not necessary, but an appreciation of it is essential.  Someone who's up for going out and exploring the world and its many wonders with me, but also cuddling on the couch watching TV and (maybe sipping a little wine) at the end of a long day.
