I am a young retire, I am a little too young yet to draw my pension. I retired after 25 years of work for my local government. I have a wonderful son that I raised by myself. He is an Eagle Scout. He is a Specialist in the Army. He has done one tour in Iraq and has to go back again this december. I have been Civil War re-enacting since 1991. Have been in several war related movies and documentries. Have done events in several states, Canada and the UK. I entertained the athlets during the 1996 olympics in Atlanta.I have done many lectures and displays for civic and charitable organizations. With my Civil War hobbie I have met many wonderful people and children.I like to fish, but mostly I just catch them and put them back in the water. I do hunt ducks and deer, but I again give it to the food bank. I enjoy the chase and the comunion with nature, a good day of catching nothing, is still better than a day at work. But really, I enjoy my job, I get a real sence of accomplishment in fixing something and making it run again or the look of a freshly redecorated room after you drywalled it and painted it.
