I am a cultured, sophisticated, subtle, introverted, and intelligent guy.  I was a ballet dancer for 15 years, and I've recently changed to singing opera.  I've lived and danced in New York, Washington, and Switzerland (I speak French), and have traveled a bit throughout Europe.  I love 19th century literature, particularly Edith Wharton (my favorite author) and Jane Austen.  I love being formal and reserved, but can also be casual and humorous (I'm told that I have a very dry sense of humor).  I'm often sweet and affable, and I tend to live and let live--that is, I won't force my opinion on someone else, and I enjoy discussing matters from different points of view just to look at each perspective. 

Oh, my chance to brag!  Well, if I do say so myself, I am a very accomplished ballet dancer.  I've received many scholarships for dance, including an award from the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts.  At 16, I left home to attend the School of American Ballet in New York City, and after two years there, I went to the Kirov Academy in Washington, DC.  I've also danced at Maurice Béjart's school in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as in a performance on Broadway.  I taught ballet all last year, and I even staged and performed in a one-act ballet.  I've performed professionally with the Washington Ballet and the Loudoun Ballet in Virginia. 

I'd prefer someone kind of artsy, or someone who at least has an interest in the arts, who enjoys good conversation, staying up/out late, is mature and sensitive, has a strong self-identity, and is in good shape.
