Hey There! Grounded Guy Looking for
Same
Hey there. I'm a 'glass half full' guy who is low on the drama scale. My sexuality doesn't define my life--it's just a part of it instead. Family and friends are important to me. I have a great sense of humor and I really like that in a guy. I love to laugh--it's OK to be silly once in a while. I have a variety of artistic and creative interests that I love to pursue. I'm very handy around the house. Stand back--I've got power tools and I know how to use them! I enjoy the great outdoors and even like doing yard work because it reconnects me to Mother Earth! It's easy to lose touch behind a desk every day! I try hard to be green. I'm passionate about life and I really like it when someone has passion too. Career-wise, I'm a full-time professional in a technically-oriented environment--yup, corporate America. I've got bills to pay :-( I deal with finances all day but am slightly embarrassed to admit that I don't balance my own checkbook. I believe in life-long learning. I currently attend graduate school and I think I'd make a good permanent student if I could swing it! I'm working on a Master of Museum Studies because it brings my various interests (archaeology, ancient history, and art) together under one 'roof.'
I am most proud of my artistic accomplishments. My artwork combines my interest in ancient history, culture, and archaeology.
I'm looking for a normal guy with a dynamic view of life. I tend to be attracted to physically active guys around my own age. I prefer someone who stays motivated and takes care of himself. I workout 4-5 times a week and run both days on the weekends. I value honesty, emotional strength, sensitivity, creativity, independence, and intelligence in a man. Spirituality is important as well. Though I am not 'religious' myself I find religion fascinating. Has anyone read "Path of the Green Man?" It's gay Wiccan and a whole lot more--philosophy to live by--really Eastern in thought. I really enjoyed it. I am relationship-oriented in the long run and not interested in short term casual encounters. I prefer someone who feels similarly--there's nothing wrong with dating. It's also important that you strive to know yourself better and have a direction in life. You also do the right thing, not the necessarily the easiest. I love the West and Southwest. In the next few years or so I would love to move out there and live in an old adobe house--maybe in Santa Fe or someplace in Colorado. It would be fun to furnish it with period antiques and Native American art. I grew up with horses and want to have them again someday. Oh yeah, I like buffalo too. It would really be fantastic to find a guy who might be up for an adventure like that too! If any of this strikes a note with you, I'd like to hear about you. Thanks for reading my profile!
