I just started a new job in Alpena. Looking forward to more out doors activites, scuba is an intrest, and getting to know my new town.
I work as a Lab Tech. I believe that it is necessary for someone to find out who they are and what they are capable of before they can give wholly to a relationship, and I believe I am at that place in my life. I have a close knit group of friends that I consider family, and they are a large part of my life. I also have animals; a dog, a cat and two horses. I've been riding and showing for twenty two years, and most of my close friends are "horse people", though that is not my only interest. I like to camp, fish, watch hockey (Red Wings of course), and run (though I'm not very fast). I am a genuine person, and am fairly clear about my feelings and intentions. I am well aware that anything worthwhile involves risk, and am willing to take them.  :)

The thing I'm most proud of is helping to raise my adopted families two wonderful kids. I don't think I could love them anymore if I they were my own kids. I have worked my way through school entirely on my own. Training and showing my horses is also a big part of my life.

I don't have a "list" of must haves, but important things include; a sense of humour, honesty, willingness to do and learn new things, and kindness.
