I've been a widow for over a year and have quite resolved my status.  I am comfortable living alone, but would appreciate a companion who likes to share the same things I enjoy--and would look forward to wherever that relationship would lead.  I would prefer someone near my own age.  I am a young 67, in basically good health, and so far have been able to take care of my own home, auto, and work 2 nights a week as well as play the piano and organ for several different venues.  I don't play games and wear my heart on my sleeve so I'm not hard to get to know.  I'm not materialistic, but I am a saver--bad habit and one I'm working on now--don't want my kids to someday have to clean up after me!!!  I have 2 sons, both are married and have children--6 wonderful grandchildren to be exact.  I'm a strong personality, but sensitive to other's needs.  I don't like to be controlled and am very willing to compromise.  I enjoy a multitude of activities and am comfortable being around a lot of people.

I have been a good emergency room nurse for 23 years, and have spent a good deal of my live sharing musical experiences with people.  I taught piano for 7 years, have played for churches for over 20 years, have played for schools and their music programs both vocal and instrumental, and, of course, play for pleasure.  I have studied several differnt programs at colleges (GRCC, FSU, CMU) so have a varied educational background--the most current being a BS degree from CMU with a church music minor.  I'm not a whiz kid by any means--just couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up!!!!

I have no stereotype of a person I would like to meet--at least not in appearance.  I would just like to meet a sensitive person who enjoys spending time with me, enjoys being around family, and who wants someone to share life and make great memories with.
