I've never been married, guess I've just never found the right guy. I'm still looking for him. I love being outdoors and enjoying God's creation. God is very important in my life and is the essence to everything for me. All I am revolves around Him and His will for my life. The person I am looking for must feel the same way. I am a teacher, currently unemployed, but looking to get back into teaching hopefully in a Lutheran school again. That may take me to another town...but I'm following God's will and plan in all of that. I love to read and play with my dog, take walks, work in my gardens, walk along the beach and play with the kids in the neighborhood. I enjoy old time movies and musicals and love to do crafts and paint. My favorite sport is to watch Nascar on Sunday afternoons. (and some Saturday nights too.)
I'm a teacher of little kids, that in and of itself I think says a lot. Most people don't give teachers enough credit these days, but we do a lot! I also enjoy and have helped in my community by being on the library board, a city festival committee, etc. I also do a lot in my church. I have helped at our churches day care, which is not as easy as people might think. I have also painted signs and displays for the daycare and community as a volunteer.
My soul mate would be someone who puts God first, and considers others second. He would be compassionate and loving. A romantic, but not too gushy. It would be nice if he enjoyed the outdoors and Nascar, but other than that, I'm pretty flexible. He just needs to be willing to do things that I want to do some of the time, and I would do the same for him. That is what a relationship is all about...give and take. Putting others needs in front of your own...not because you have to, but because you want to.
