I am an outdoor type person. I have been widowed since 1993 and my wife and I liked to camp in the UP of Michigan and I still do this alone. I am a former deer hunter who cannot handle to cold any more so I don't hunt. I am a shooter and a life member of the NRA. I have CCW and do carry. I like to fish and when camping I ride a ATV and like to look at the scenery and wild life so I don't go fast.
I was in the Navy for 5 years during the Korean War. I have been completely around the world by sea.I was aboard ship for most of my service. I did spend 42 weeks going to school in San Francisco.I was an Electronics Technition and was honorably discharged in 1952. I spent 3 years on the northern coast of Alaska on the DEW (Distant Early Warning ) Line in a late 50s as a technition civilian. I have 3 daughters, 5 grand children and 13 great grand children.
I would like someone who likes what I like but also likes to enjoy my company and talking about variour things about most any subject.I am a better talker that I am a writer!
