So, do you have your bags packed?  I'm actually leaving for Australia soon, so if I don't respond there's a reason.  I'm probably different at many levels.  I love to travel!  I love medicine!  I love to give!(in more than one way :) )  I want to travel and volunteer by taking care of those less fortunate and plan to do so in a few years after finishing my residency.  I see the world as a whole and feel that at the end of the day we come from one place or one source.  I feel, it's the little things that make us different and that's why I like to travel and explore and learn.  I'm also different because I like to talk about my feelings; I'm a touchy/feely guy.  I don't come across that way at first.  I have a very down-to-earth, open personality.  I like big cities and what they have to offer.  I'm very sarcastic and can be a goof ball at times.  I'm not all that proper or politically correct.  Staying in shape and personal hygiene are important to me and being vegetarian as well.  Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. I'm almost done with medical school, and I'll be starting residency soon.  With the field I'm choosing I do not plan on being ridiculously busy.  But I do have a couple of rough years ahead of me.  I'm proud to have gotten where I am at.  I had a other jobs in the medical field prior to medical school.  I mention this because I've taken the less traditional route and have had overcome some struggles, so getting to this point has definitely take a great deal of hard work.  I've seen almost 25 countries up to now--all with my own earned money.  I've started volunteering a little 2 years ago.  And will want to do more in the future.  I have great friends and seem to be blessed with good friend-picking skills.   :)  Or I have a sense for that???  Regardless, I have good friends all over. 

I'm not perfect, neither am I looking for that.  It's a must for me to be with someone who loves to travel, who sees the world like I do, who has to volunteer and give throughout her life.  Is selfless.  One who feels the need to take care of herself physically and/or to be in physical shape.  Being vegetarian would be very preferable.  Someone who's not pretentious, or about money or has to buy expensive things to be trendy, etc.  I want to be with someone who will challenge and inspire me.  Someone who will make me think.  Someone who I can be myself with--goofy or dorky or serious.  I just like regular gal with some extraordinary goals and desires in her life.
