I'm looking for someone to become my last best friend. Someone to walk hand in hand with...to travel with, to dream with and to look to the future with. I'm loyal, trustworthy, ....but I don't play Frisbee. I am independent, able to take care of me and mine but won't turn down help from a friend when needed.I love to wear my jeans go out and shoot a game of pool and also get dressed up and go to the theatre.I come from a musical family and play the piano, guitar and sing a little.I've been a Registered Nurse for the last 23 years primarily in the emergency room so yes there is some steel in my spine.I have a very dry sense of humour and looking for someone that can appreciate that .. I am now retired from nursing and am looking for something else to occupy my time that I would love as much as I did nursing. I have 3 children. 2 boys, ages 25 and 19 and a daughter who is 14 and started high school this year. My sons live in Milwaukee and attend college and work and yes, they share an apartment. We are a very close knit family and my children talk to me about everything and anything.
Proud of my children and the accomplishments they have made and for my part in making them the strong, independent people they are. For knowing they can come to talk to me about anything.......and they do. As for me....I'm proud of what I've done with my life so far but I'm far from done..........will never be done...to many things to see and do yet..........
I am looking for someone who is able to converse about world politics but will also read every comic in the paper. Someone to make me smile and laugh.Everyone wants someone with the same needs and wants but the chemistry has to be there also.....the butterflies. Someone who wants me for me...who understands the priority of being a parent .Someone who is not afraid to show affection in public and private. I'd like someone that I can just talk to and be friends with first, and to do things with.
