You might not know it by looking at me, but I am employed as a Realtor. I'm a 5' 6" blue eyes, gray hair with a few extra lb's that I am in the process of loosing. Would like to meet a person that would work out with me. The words that describe me best are sincere, nice, and kind. I like to read, watch movies and take short trips.  An ideal date could be several things from staying home in front of the fire with a glass of wine talking about the day to going to a concert or play.  I seldom go to the bar but when I know there are going to be ...e I will go.  I do not usually like large crowds.  I am more comfortable with a few friends over for dinner.  I have a variety of interests from Archeology to Medicine to Law and History.

This is a difficult section for me to write because, like most people, I do not like to brag about myself but here goes.  I was in the Navy for 4 years where I became a medic then a surgical nurse.  After the Navy, I started college in pre-med but decided that I wanted to have a life and went into teaching.  I now have two masters degrees plus a few extra.  I have been both a teacher and an administrator.  I am now retired and working as a real estate agent.  I have a variety of interests such as art, music and history.  I have taken  many different classes in these areas.  There is a lot more but I want to save something to talk about.

I have been asked to describe the type of man I like.  It would seem that question could be easily answered.  In fact, that is one of the most difficult.  I like a variety of people and all for different reasons.  I guess I respond to people that are kind, generous, loyal, honest, caring and intelligent.  Age is not as important as maturity and stability.  When I think of a dream date, I think cozy fire, glass of wine and talking about the day. I'll know when I've found Mr. Right when we mutually agree the relationship is working and we want it to move to that level.  I want someone who thinks that a relationship is more important than sex.
