(Any Buffy fans out there?)Who am I? I am a fun loving single lady. I know how to find humor in pretty much any situation. I have beautiful blue eyes and a fabulous smile to go with it. I like to read pretty much anything; although I do lean toward fiction. I enjoy science fiction/fantasy (Orson Scott Card, Ray Bradbury, Piers Anthony, Robert Jordan, Charles de Lint, LE Moddisett...), mystery, adventure, classics... and more. I enjoy similar stories in TV shows. I love to go to the movies, but I don't handle scary ones very well. (I watch them on video with the Disney Channel tuned in so I can escape.) I enjoy participating in the theater both as a member of the audience and as an actor. I do not like just sitting around in a bar, I like to do something: dance, play darts or pool, bowl. I'm actually terrible at the last three, but that's half the fun.
What am I proud of? Well, I'm proud that I can go to seminars, come back to work and present the information that is useful to the rest of the people I work with. (They're a TOUGH audience.)I'm happy to say that students trust and count on me to help them out. They ask me for references for different things they do and that's a big accomplishment when working with teenagers.I'm not afraid to give it my all and do theatre. I've played nuns, dancers, mothers and bag-women with great enjoyment. There is nothing more exciting than getting on stage and being someone completely different. You get a chance to explore the world from a different point of view. There are many other things, but if it's all here...well then what surprises are left?
I'm looking for someone who is kind and caring. Someone who wants to know how my day was and to tell me about their day. Someone who can accept me as I am and as I change. Music is very important to me and I love to listen to different kinds of music, but often don't pay attention to what I have on. I'd like someone who likes to experience music as well, even if I don't know what I'm listening to. (I chalk it up to being eccentric.)I don't place much emphasis on appearance. I will say that I usually don't care for a lot of facial hair...although I can be persuaded that it's "right for you." I find your attitude toward life much more important. Open minded-ness, being friendly and caring about others are definite things I look for. Oh yes, and a sense of humor. Just about anything can be funny and laughing alone isn't nearly as much fun as laughing with someone else.
