I am one who's glass is always half full! My positive attitude has been a great benefit for me in life and I love to spread the happiness and joy! I've been told my sense of humor is great and enjoy making people laugh...whether is be a witty comment or just acting goofy. Life is too short to be taken too seriously. I'm happy being at home playing a board game, chasing my cat, watching a movie or reading a book but I also like to get out and do some dancing, dining, shopping, etc. I love the outdoors and especially enjoy nature photography. Family is important to me. I have 3 children, the youngest being 19. I'm very proud of them and the occasions we can all find the time to get together are my favorite! I'm a very kind, caring and considerate person. I put a great deal of effort into making friends and family members aware of how special they are to me. I believe in honesty and respect and know it takes two willing participants to make a relationship work. I'm a romantic gal and enjoy being cuddled and hugged.. hopefully you would like the same! I turned the big 5-0 this year but it wasn't anything I was worried about. I know it's just a number .... I've always been told I look and act much younger than I actually am... you know maturing is not mandatory!
I've always loved working with children and have held positions from teaching elementary school, operating my own daycare center to holding a position as a job coach and assisting youth in obtaining their GED's to achieve gainful employment. I guess my most success has been through athletics. I was voted athlete of the year in my hometown.... way back when... and also have been a member of softball teams that have won the state and national titles! I also take much pride in my children and their many accomplishments.
I would love to meet someone who has the same passion and zest for life as I do. Someone who isn't willing to sit back and watch life pass them by. My "perfect" mate would be one who doesn't hold onto negative feelings but is fast to forgive and move on with life. It would be great if they had a sense of humor and didn't mind acting silly or goofy now and then. My mate would have to enjoy the outdoors, be a bit athletic and hopefully love animals. Also they would be respectful, honest, compassionate and enjoy being spoiled. Please no couch potatoes! Having respect for your body and health would be a big bonus! Must also love yourself!!
