I enjoy watching just about any type of movie, my favorites are older as in 1940s movies. Drama, Disney & other family genre movies and romantic comedies are ones that I watch repeatedly sometimes just as background noise as others would use music. Foreign and Indies films are genres that I am continually exposing my friends and family to, they are not always appreciated but they are generally good movies. I am not a hugely political person whereas I have not been involved in any campaigns, yet. I do have an interest in becoming more involved in politics. I am an avid reader when I have time to enjoy what I am reading. I enjoy reading different types of books, some of the last books I enjoyed were: the latest Harry Potter, Catcher in the Rye and Magical Thinking (not about magic). I read the newspaper daily, sometimes not till late at night, I also listen to MN public radio. I play softball in the summer with some friends, walk my dog daily (weather permitting). Last thing I am completely charmed by my cousin's kid, he just had his first birthday. Every time I see him I can't stop smiling. I have been told that I light up when I am around him. I all seams really sappy but I am captivated by the kid.
I have been a part of many teams that have had some accomplishments, I am not much of a bragger.
Unlike the old adage I am not looking for an opposite of myself. I am looking for someone who doesn't mind a nice quiet night at home over the club scene. I do not happen to be a very religious person, I do have beliefs and ideals. So I feel that a potential relationship partner would not be an extremely religiously active person. A partner that keeps informed of what is going on in the world, and can hold their own in a conversation without getting too worked up if someone disagrees with them. They would also have to enjoy children and animals. I adore my cousin's little boy, I look forward to seeing him all the time. Personality should include a sense of humor especially if quirky, think John Cusack.
