Over my three years here in Minneapolis. I have made a lot of great friends. I currently live by myself in downtown. My friends call me a "Downtown Snob" but thats ok... I'm not really. LOL I work for a busy hotel just outside of downtown. My job can be a challenge at times, but I have been able to make tons of positive inpact, so it has proven to be very rewarding. I spend my free time volunteering, shopping, eating, working out, and traveling. My Hilton discount is great for that!
While work is not my life by any means, I have come quite far on the corporate ladder. Work is not all about the paycheck, it's about doing something you love. I love being able to lead, direct, and shape my staff into the individuals they want to be. I just found out this month, that I am developing curriculum for a local technical college, and will start teaching classes in the fall. I am so excited that I get to help shape my idustry's future.
