The gifts that God has given me, I don't take for granted. Time management is one of these gifts. He has blessed me with three wonderful jobs (Pre-K teacher, personal trainer at Curves, and real estate agent), and you might as well say that my church work is a close fourth. Being the musician and choir director keep me busy as well. I make sure that I find time to enjoy life--it's too short not to. Fine dining, going to the theatre, bowling, or catching a few hoops help keep me entertained. My favorite times are spent enjoying the company of my friends--walking on the beach, enjoying the rising of the sun on a brand new day. I found that it's the simple things in life that make my life feel fulfilled--family, and friends are very important to me. Honesty is something I value and cherish.
One of the things I love to do with my time every Sunday afternoon is go to Ellisville State School (it's a state run mental health facility) and sing for the clients there. Many of these clients don't have anyone to visit them because their family find them to be an embarrassment. I have been going for two years now, and I love the joy I bring to my clients. I bring my keyboard, give them an opportunity to sing, and I sing to them. The love that I receive from them far ouweighs what I bring them. Health and wellness is very important to me. I have lost a tremendous amount of weight over that past two years and that's why I enjoy personal training. My clients range from ladies who need to loose 50 lbs. or more. I give them hope that if I did it--they can, too. My gym (Curves) was so impressed by my weight loss and dedication that an affiliate of there's heard about me, and I now help in the purchase of Curves re-sales nation-wide!! I would like to meet someone who has the same work ethic that I do, but also has the need to have fun in his life. I want someone who is not afraid to show he cares about a person he's interested in. Someone who's willing to take a risk that I am the one who's worth his time and energy. I think I'm worth the risk--hopefully you will, too.
