I'm busy getting ready for spring gardening by starting plants under lights. A neat way to garden when there's still snow on the ground.

I enjoy meeting people, but much prefer it one on one than in a crowd. I value honesty, friendship, family, and faith. I consider myself to relatively outgoing yet somewhat reserved, but I know the value of being alone as well or alone with one special person. My children are very important to me and it has been fun and amazing seeing the adults they are turning into and knowing I had some part in that transformation from child to teen to adult. I'm currently between jobs;  don't let anyone ever tell you that job hunting is easy or fun.  I'd love to work half time and get paid for a full-time job, but it isn't always about the money. Sure, I wish I had more money, but primarily to pay off the bills, my kids' education, and maybe do a bit of traveling.  Things are tough right now, but I've managed with what I have so far--I've even taken on a newspaper route-ugh!  That I could give up in heartbeat though.. I also have a website business.  I also raise vegetable plants to sell at the farmer's market and this year I may even try to grow some produce to sell later on as well.  I stay busy.
I'm fairly regular in my church attendance and strong in my faith, which has pulled me through some rough times. I seldom drink and I’ve never smoked. I'm not a totally serious person, I enjoy laughter and being silly, and teasing my kids, friends, parents, and siblings now and then. I love hugs, yellow roses, lamb chops and spinach.

I love to cook and am always trying out and experimenting with new healthy recipes. My kids, friends, and family say my cooking is very good and varied. I especially enjoy both cooking and eating Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, and Greek foods--lots of different kinds of foods. I don’t mind sharing the kitchen with a man if he cooks or can help.
I've started a website business that sells gardening gloves and such, and it is growing.  Not as fast as I'd like, but growing.  I have found that I enjoy the customer service aspect of it more than I ever anticipated.  Very different from any job I have ever done before. 
I love to dance: ballroom, waltz, swing, jitterbug, country western, contra, and especially modern square and round dancing, which I've done since high school. I’m told I’m a good dancer and that I follow leads well. I can go to a square dance solo and get in a lot of dancing, but I don't like to go to the bars and dance--that's not my scene. I've not done much dancing lately due to circumstances, but still love it.
I enjoy walking, camping, reading, sewing, and gardening. I hel...ut with my son's Scout troop before he headed off to college, and have sung in the church choir off and on over the years. I like to play guitar at church and camps, but I'm certainly no Loretta Lynn. I love cats and have 3 at the house right now, but I like dogs too. I'd love to travel more some day, but that will most likely have to wait until I retire somewhere in the future or the funds are available.

I am looking for someone who knows who he is and yet isn't afraid to lean on someone when times get tough. He would be there for me when I need a shoulder too. He needs to be willing to talk things out and compromise at times. I want someone who likes to laugh, hug and hold hands and be silly now and then. He should have a faith to draw on and keep himself centered. I want someone to share life with not be controlled by. He should have interests similar to mine, but has a few of his own to keep things interesting. It's the little things that add up and count the most over time, the day-to-day things. Big-ticket items are nice, but not always necessary. Constancy is good. I'd rather start with friendship or a dating relationship in mind and then see where that takes us. A long-term relationship is a possibility. And he must like to dance and/or be willing to learn to square and round dance if he doesn't already know how.  (By the way round dancing is essentially cued ballroom dancing.)  I want someone who is honest about who he is and his interest in possibly developing a relationship.   If there is little chance we could meet in Montana at some point in time, don't contact me.  I will be much more likely to respond if you send me an email with some information about you and your interests.  flirts don't interest me much.  I'm NOT INTERESTED in ANYONE who is living or travelling in Africa--I've been scammed by someone doing that and I do not want to waste time on someone doing that again.  I only want someone who is truly interested an honest healthy relationship.
