I teach school in a rural part of North Carolina.  I like living in the country but wish to eventually move to the city or closer to the city.  I believe that everyone has potential.  Potential at what?  What ever they want to be.  You have to have this attitude to be an effective teacher.  I think that my job and past experiences really make me what I am today. I enjoy having a good time.  That can be going out dancing or just watching movies on the couch.  I love rainy Sundays when you snuggle on the couch and listen to the rain hitting the window pane and Fridays in the Spring when you can ride with the windows down and the radio up.  There is just somehting about the mood that both of those things evoke. 

I have been teaching for six years and have set three goals for myself.  I am beginning school in January to get a Masters in Literacy.  This will take 20 months so I will have my Masters before I am 30.  By the time I'm 40, I will have my Doctorate in Education and be teaching at UNC-Wilmington (Hopefully).  This is my plan.  It's good to have a plan, right?  I was nominated for Disney's Teacher of the Year and awarded one of America's Who's Who in Great American Teachers.  Notice all of my bragging is centered around my job.  That is sort of disturbing.  Oh well...

I am really looking for someone that is honest, loyal, and easy-going.  He has to be funny and enjoy a good laugh.  I want someone to spend time with and get to know, have fun with, talk to when I have a wild day at school, snuggle with on those rainy Sundays, and laugh at my silliness.
