Well I'm a transplant from Brooklyn NY (Born and raised) moved to NC in 1999 for a better opportunity been living here ever since. Yes like other people who moved from their birth state or country I do miss it...to a degree ;-). Living in the country (NC) on the other hand afforded me the peace I always longed for and though it may cut my chances of meeting a quality woman who prefers the city life, I will with regret accept that loss since the country life has grown on me considerably.

Since I am a field technician my job does in fact take me to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Newport News, Richmond, and the Outer banks so traveling to meet someone will not be as hard as you think. So with that out of the way, a little about me...

I'm quiet but have a great since of humor once I open up. I can be a real fun guy to be around. I try not to take myself to seriously and learned to laugh at myself. I'm kind of a homebody but would not mind going out. I don't do the bar scene so if going out is your thing, a nice restaurant would be nice. I'm not a party person but I promise not to be a stick in the mud either.

I enjoy mountain biking when time permits, I like to work with my hands; yard work, my cars (beyond the usual oil changes) I started welding (nice hobby) and I do have a weakness for classic cars. One day I would love to travel cross country (preferably in a classic Chevrolet) since there is still so much to see in our country. Though my old job afforded me the travel I was trapped in a retail store setting up networks for hours on end and I think I owe it to myself to see the good old USA the right way :-).

I consider myself a conservative (politically, socially) and don’t see myself changing in that regards. Being a conservative don’t mean we’re boring we just have different standards about doing things.

I would like to meet someone who is affectionate, happy, positive and yes even a little grabby. You don’t have to be super bubbly I understand there are times where we are all allowed our sour days I just don’t want someone who is moody 90 percent of the time. Being witty is fine, even sprinkled with a bit of sarcasm, but if your dripping with it, at least for me is a huge turn off. I don't drink but that should not stop my future partner from drinking. I have no issues with people drinking socially or at home its just something I don't prefer right now. Don't let this be a deal breaker for you. If you like to have a glass of wine or a couple of beers I say HAVE AT IT! Last but not least finding someone conservative would be nice but not mandatory, but I will be honest I don't do "very liberal" or "extremely liberal" very well.
