I'm a pretty simple guy.  Born and raised in North Carolina.  I've gone back to school to finish my Bachelor's in Education and I work full time with Barnes & Nobles Bookstores.  I'm a classically trained musician on a number of brass instruments and love hearing about new music.  My favorite book topics include sociology, science fiction, and general fiction.  My goal after college is to enter the teaching feild as a (expletive) Chemistry teacher.  I have a pretty steady temperament and tend to be a bit laid back.  I might be a little shy at first, but often warm up pretty easily.

I'm self-sufficient and stand on my own two feet; in my book that's a pretty big one.  In (expletive) and college I've earned a number of awards in performance music both instrumental and vocal; just don't ask me to give a solo performance, I tend to be a bit shy about it.

I really want to find a guy to "call my own".  I would love to find a guy willing to make me a part of his life as I would make him part of mine.  I believe strongly in honesty, care, and compassion.  Physically, I'm attracted to average to stocky built guys.  The most attractive part of a guy is either his eyes or his arms/shoulders.  Love a guy with green eyes.  Body hair is definitely a plus, but not a requirement.  Outside of that, a sense of humor is an absolute necessity.  I appreciate someone who can be serious one moment and in the next breath do something completely goofy.  I like a guy with a good ability to carry a conversation, doesn't matter what topic.  And be comfortable in your skin.  Be the same whether walking around the mall, sitting in a restaurant, or crashing the couch watching a TV program or DVD.
