I'm a happy, joyous and free 31 year old college English instructor and writer. My poetry, plays and nonfiction have been published and produced, and I used to act and write in an all female performance art troupe called Brawdeville. I love going to the beach, walking along the river, dancing to ambient beats, underground electronic & techno, attending concerts, getting coffee downtown, chilling out watching TV and movies, and anything physical and active. I think I already did this in my opening--so as you can tell, my writing is a big part of my sense of self. I have also graduated with my MFA in poetry, won a few poetry slams, spoke at a few conferences, acted in a bunch of plays, and my comedy was produced at Thalian Hall. As of now I am seriously blocked, so I need a muse. My last girlfriend text message dumped me when I wrote her a poem, so don't interpret my love poems as "I'm in love with you and want to be with you forever...after our 2nd date" thing but rather a different way of bringing you flowers :)

Because I abstain from drink, please do not think you cannot enjoy libations around me, but if you're an alcoholic like me, active alcoholism probably will not work with us. I like an easy going, happy woman who is mature and secure with herself, is established professionally, is college educated, and has no serious emotional issues going un-treated. My soul mate ejoys intimacy and doesn't feel the need to fill silences with pratter. We should be able to quietly relate, or laugh out loud at the absurd things in life, enjoying every moment we have on this earth as it is a gift, fleeting and then gone.
