my name is allen. describing myself in these little blurbs is usually a little difficult for me, but i'll give it a shot. i am rapidly approaching 30. i'm a graphic designer and i also have a clothing line, or two. i work alot, sometimes too much. i enjoy playing pool. i also like to play poker, as does the rest of the world right now. i'm kind of good at both of them, but i don't like to brag. i've been told that i'm way too shy, and i don't need to be reminded... i'm only shy for a while, once i get to know someone i can actually talk and  appear normal. i'm a much better writer than this blurb is going to lead you to believe, but i am just not very good at writing about myself. guess it relates to being shy. i'd rather know about you than tell you about myself. if you want to know: ask, but i won't offer unsolicited. i don't really ever watch tv, but i do like to watch movies. i have absolutely no idea what the most popular reality show is right now, and i liked donald trump before he started firing everyone. havent seen that show either. i like to cook, but it gets kind of cumbersome cooking for yourself all the time, so i end up eating out alot. i am a member of the beer mug club at the front street brewery because i like their food, and the beer is really swell. i have a big white dog that sheds alot, and he's a little overweight. he's eating better food now, so things are looking good for him. i am considering going back to school, my current degree is in marketing. maybe i should have went to art school years ago, but i didn't. guess its never too late, just considering my options.

as i said earlier, i don't like to brag. this would make a good conversation later ...

i would like to meet a girl who has actually read this far. i'm definitely not looking for the "controlling" type, so if you know thats you, sorry (you know who you are). i like a girl who has a passion in life, some sort of interest that drives her. i like a girl who has style and is not afraid to show it. some of you may be offended that i keep using the word "girl", but please don't be, i know you are all beautiful, mature, adult women and ladies out there, i just find that word more casual and easier to use. feel free to call me "guy" at any time. for some reason, a girl that wears knee high boots with a skirt is incredibly attractive to me. hair color isn't an issue, neither is the eye color. height is not a major issue, although a girl taller than me sometimes feels a little awkward, as i'm sure it does for her too. i think an intelligent girl is incredibly sexy, but a girl who acts too smart isn't. you know the difference. a sense of humor is a huge benefit, huge. and i won't lie, just like the rest of the world, i am attracted to attractive people... i am tired of hearing people complain about "looks don't matter" etc. thats a lie. the thing is, everyone has their own tastes.. if you are not attracted to someone in some way, it just won't work. some people call it shallow, i call it honest. i'm not defining the parameters of beauty, i'm just saying that it is a factor. other factors definitely come into play... i enjoy going out for the occasional beer, so i suppose she should be up for that. i'm not much of a homebody, so i'm usually out and about doing something... i guess the right girl could change that, but it hasn't happened yet... well, theres more to it, but thats a start. if you've read this far, you might as well email me...
