About Me

I am an odd combination of old fashioned values and modern attitudes.  I often wonder if I was born in the right century.  Yes I like modern conveniences and especially communication and multi-media but there are times in the ultra-fast paced world that people just need to slow down and simplify things and enjoy life. I LOVE music and you can find me at a karaoke bar singing, drinking dark ale, and enjoying the company of friends and strangers.  I am also a history buff, trivia nut, and professional smart ass with a sometime overactive sense of humor.

I have a good steady job with long term career benefits.  I fathered a beautiful and creative daughter who graduates high school in May '08.  I have an above average I.Q.

Who I'd Like To Meet

I would like to meet a healthy active lady.  Someone that can engage me in great conversation no matter where we are or what we are doing.  Someone that would like to hear me sing, or even better sing along with me.  I have no specific appearance preferences ... although the Irish part of me has a weakness for long haired Auburn/Redheads.
