I'm a 43 year old widowed father of 6. My wife was killed by a drunk driver a few years ago. I decided to focus on raising my kids and getting my head back on, so I kinda have put a "significant other" relationship on the side. Now I've come to the realization that I'm tired of being alone and without someone to love. I'm down to 2 kids at home, (the others are grown and out on their own),and they even tell me that I need to find someone. I don't want some one night stand from a bar. I feel that "pick up" lines are disrespectful and phony, and want a woman that is serious but knows how to have fun----no players please. I'v been through enough. I firmly believe that a woman is the most beautiful and precious thing on earth! And should be loved and respected, not beat on, or cheated on. Give me a chance and you'll find one of the most loyal and loving guys there are.Hobbies--- I like fishing,camping,playing softball,and whatever my kids are into. I love to sing and write lyrics to country songs. I have a Karaoke/DJ business in addition to my full-time job, so i'm in the bars alot, but don't drink (except sometimes I'll buy a beer to carry around to look like I belong there--I'll buy it at 9:00 and it's still half full at closin' time.)
My greatest accomplishments are my kids and grandbabies (If I'd have known how much fun grandkids are, I'd have had them first) Have always kept a job and maintained my family--especially through the hard times. I'm a pretty moral,respectful, and honest person. My kids,nephews and friends all look up to me and know they can count on me for help/advice. Other than that just a down-to-earth pretty good guy.
