I am very independent. I make my own choices, and do not allow men or friends to control me, or make my decisions for me.  I am just getting out of a 13 1/2 year relationship with a man who was abusive, and who thought I had to be under his thumb constantly. Well he found out that through that 13 1/2  years that doesn't cut it with me. I will not tolerate men with low self esteem or friends who do not have goals. I am a very open understanding person, and understand just about anything that comes my way. I have a very good support system of a friends whom I allow into my inner circle. I am also a Nichiren Buddhist and have been practising on and off for almost 22 years. I did the Christian thing, and boy was that an illusion that caused more problems in my life then anything. I don't go for fundamental dogmatic Christians. It is not that I do not believe in Jesus, I do, but I have researched religion for over 25 years, and the fundamentalist Christians in my point of view do not have a clue. I am very into sociology and want to go back to school to study more. I am a musician, play acoustic guitar, write my own music lyrics, and music, plus I sing. I also write poetry.  I love nature. I love to laugh. Laughter in my opinion is so important in a relationship plus sharing each others values, and concerns. I don't need somebody to agree with me at all, but I hope you can make a good impression in a debate, although it is nice every now and then to agree with the person you are involved with.
