The first thing that makes me, well, me is my relationship with my Lord. I am a Christian first and forever and my number one ambition is to be what God created me to be. The next most important thing to me is my family. I am close to my mom and dad and my brother is married and has two adorable daughters and I simply adore them! Next comes my friends. I'd do just about anything for them. Everything else you want to know, feel free to drop me a line!
Okay, on to what I do with all my time. I'm a junior art student at the University of Nebraska, emphasising in Graphic Design. I'm on the marching band's flag line and I work as a night clerk for the residence halls. When I'm not in class or working I'm at the REC Centre working out with the Cycling Club. I also compete in the Miss America Pageant System. I was Miss Columbus in 2003 and competed at the Miss Nebraska Pageant in 2004. Right now I'm the reining Miss Tri-Cities, so I'll be competing again out at Miss Nebraska this summer. I spend a lot of time promoting my platform of Bullying Awareness and Prevention. It's an issue that's very near to my heart and I'm very passionate about it. I'm also a dancer. Right now I'm into swing and I work from time to time as a sub for classes or private lessons around town. I also love animals! I don't have any right now, we had to put my puppy down over the holiday break since she had diabetes, but as soon as I get my own place, I'm getting another one. My brother and I are both adopted, so finding where I come from is just as important to me as appreciating the world I grew up in. I recently found out that I'm part Irish, and I have to say I was very excited. I always thought I was Irish. I also love reading. My parents made a point of encouraging my brother and I to use our imaginations.
Well fellas... I hate to break it to you... I'm no longer single. I've found a wonderfully Godly man. I know exactly what I want in my future husband and I know what I don't want and God has answered my prayers. I didn't want someone that had been married and divorced. I didn't want someone that was younger than me or that much older than me; I needed someone who was at the same stage of life that I am. I need someone that can support a family. I want to be a professional Christian Wife and Mother who does art on the side, so a man who can provide a suitable income for our family is important. I compete in pageants and since I have won multiple titles, I'm known and I'm held to a higher standard. Because of this I need someone that can support me and be willing to stand in the shadows at times and be at my side; I need someone that can carry on a conversation with benifactors and politicians. I can't date someone that has children because I'm not ready for everything that goes along with that kind of situation. I refuse to allow kids to go through that kind of pain/confusion. If things work out and we decide to get married, I need someone whose job will allow him to be home everynight. Family is PRIORITY second only to GOD! I want someone that will be an asset to my faith, someone I can pray with and learn more about God and grow as a Christain with. I want someone that doesn't smoke, drink, or chew and someone that is committed to staying pure till marriage. I want someone that's active and likes to do things outdoors. I need someone that's fit so that we can both do activities together and so he can keep up with me. I'd like someone that enjoys music, theatre, and movies. I'd also like him to be open minded and a good listener and be able to communic
