I am attending Southeast Community College right now and majoring in journalism. I'm almost done at SCC and plan to transfer to UNL to get my bachelor's degree. I want to be a newspaper reporter. I want to write for the Journal Star or the Omaha World Herald someday. I also write stories and poems in my free time. I'm trying to finish one of my stories so I could get it published in the near future.

I have had some of my writing published already. I wrote for my high school newspaper and a literary magazine that the school also published that included one of my poems.
