I'm a small boned "cute little old man".   I have been retired since 1994 on SS and a couple of small pensions, so am definitely low income, but I think that's ok.  I don't smoke or drink, but I used to do both a lot, and am tolerant of those who do, up to a point,         since I've been there and done that.  I'm in good physical shape for my age and am adjusted to some minor irritations associated with old age, like not being able to drive at night (because I can't see a bloody thing  with someone elses headlights in my face) and I don't hold up in a foot race as good as I used to, but I still do pretty well on my bicycle.  I am currently in an apartment in a very nice seniors complex  in a small town, while I try to sell my house (am tired of taking care of it by myself, not to mention the expense of maintenance these days)   I am a cancer survivor and am now cancer free, two results of that...one, the treatments will continue the rest of my life to keep it from coming back, (not a big deal) and I am dead in the water in the bedroom activities dept. but can still figure out how to satisfy a partner if the need "arises".  I have found out one important thing in all of this, being in the arms of someone I love is the best sex I ever had.  I have a lot of love in my heart to give  and sharing my life with someone is the ultimate happiness.

I have always worked (industrial sales), never have been unempolyed, have four years of college but no degree.  I am active in AA, have been for 26 years, if AA isn't the most important thing in my life, it's close to it.  So work on my character defects and have learned how to let others be who they are without any directions from me.  I have covered all the western states on my FLH Harley, (still have my leathers and am always ready to put my butt in the buddy seat) and have restored two collector cars, the last being my beloved Studebaker (not in my garage anymore, but still in the family)   But my greatest accomplishment is yet to come, a life shared with someone I love and who loves me in return.

I'd like to meet a nice guy, close to my own age (the young ones are wonderful to look at, but I have more satisfying conversations with those who remember what it was like during WW II).  I love going camping, especially in an RV, I love the opera (especially Sante Fe) classical music and definitely collector cars, I never miss a car show, I am mechanically inclined and good at fixing things.  I get along especially well with Aries people (since I'm a Leo and Aries is my best sign, not "over the edge" with Zodiac, but it seems to have some credibility in the personality dept.)   So, my "nice guy" should fit in here someplace, and be slender enough for me to get my arms around him, and close to my height would be nice.  I'm a home body at heart, love the rural life, like eating in, but thoroughly enjoy an occasional trip to the big city for theater and dining out.
