I am a 57 year young retired high school teacher, teaching was my passion going for 34 years. My love of nature and the outdoors showed in my teaching and the way I occupy my spare time. I presently work a part-time job that could not be better to suited to me in my retirement. I couldn't have planned it if I tried. I enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, birds, being on the water, fishing(bass fishing is also another passion of mine, just ask I'll tell you more than you want to know) and above all people. I love to talk with people especially those that have a passion for something. I am an optimistic person almost to fault. It's my nature. I'm 5'3" tall about 135 lbs. I like to be active so try to keep fit but do not obsess about it. I feel the right activities can keep you where you need to be. I'm comfortable with most people and in most situations as in teaching you must be able to perform and change direction at any time. Enough about me, I can get to rambling. A successful career, success in my fishing passion and now a special new career gift!! I feel that my successes in life have been gifts from my higher power. I am fortunate to have been given the gifts of happiness in most things I have attempted or have had a passion for.
My soul mate would be someone that is optimistic, passionate about life and loves a variety of activities and adventures. Outward appearance isn't always what I look for as inward appearance is often more beautiful. Perhaps they would have their own passion to share.
