I am 51 years old, but often get told I look at least ten years younger.  I am 5'7" and a bit overweight at current.  I weighed 120 pounds until I hit my mid-40s, then suddenly shot up about 30 pounds.  I'm in the process of losing that now, and getting back in shape.  I used to do things like hike, bike, mountain climb, etc. and I want to get back to that place.  I am a highly-educated professional woman who works in the field of Communications.  I love the arts - live theater, movies, museums - all of that cool cultural stuff!  I am emotional, sensitive, compassionate and communicative.  Yet I am strong and independent at the same time.  I have been single for about seven years...and decided it's time to try to meet a nice man.  But I believe in friendship first..and by that I mean NO romance until getting to know someone very well first.  I've learned the hard way that putting the cart before the horse in relationships just does not work.  I have many diverse hobbies, many wonderful friends, parents and a sister who live close by in Massachusetts.  I have no children of my own, but a nephew and two nieces who I'm very close to.

I'd like to meet someone in the 45-65 age range who is intelligent, warm, sensitive, nurturing, compassionate, and most important - NOT A WOMANIZER.  I've had enough of those... I'd like to get close to a man who loves the arts, is as passionate about music as I am; someone who is educated and enjoys the finer things in life. He should take good care of himself - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  I don't need a body-builder, but someone who works out regularly.
