What makes me me? Well, my
job teaching because I
thoroughly enjoy helping other people
and constantly tell my students
that it is the little things
in life that you do for people
that they will remember the
most. I'm the youngest of six
children originally from NJ,
and my sisters and brothers
have called me "the thoughtful
one" because I am the type of
person who will remember little
details of what people said.
I will then act on them and
surprise people with for
example, something they saw in the
window of a store, commented
they really liked it and then
I'll get it for them on the sly.
My siblings also call me the
"the news hound" because I
read at least three newspapers
(and anything else I can get my
hands on). They have also
called me "scary smart" b/c of
the chemistry thing and the fact
I'm a professor. I don't
agree with them on that one -
I've just worked really hard in
my life to get where I am
today, and I love it - job and NH
are great, and I thoroughly
enjoy living in the woods. All
of them except one live within
20 miles of my mom's house in
Jersey. As soon as I got out
of high school, I started my
northbound trek for education
and skiing, which I still enjoy
to this day. I must also say
that my step-father was in
the WTC on 9/11 and managed to
survive (with 10 minutes to
spare - he was also there in '93)
but others I knew did not and
they were my age, not my dad
who is now 85. By fate and
luck, two of my sisters were
supposed to be there but weren't.
Whew! That experience has
totally influenced the way I
act and speak. "Say what you
mean, mean what you think and
think anything." Use the good
stationery and perfume. Enjoy
each day, be nice to everyone
and speak up whenever. My
students have called me the
"intimidator" b/c I run my
classroom like catholic school and
don't accept any bad behavior
from the barbarians
Not a bragger in any way,

What am I looking for?
Thought I knew once and now pretty
much open to meeting new people
and learning new things.
