Hi, I'm Stephanie. In person I
am fairly shy and observant,
online and once you get to
know me I am incredibly open and
honest. I enjoy travelling
immensely and people watching.
Which nicely explains why I
majored in Anthropology... (though
not terribly useful in the
employment line of things) I am
currently employed doing data
entry for a temp agency, but I
am looking for a job better
suited to me... I am currently
living at home with my parents
because well, rent's high and
I don't know exactly where I
want to be. Plus I enjoy being
around my parents. they are
highly entertaining. I
currently spend most of my weekends in
Boston with my friends
(because they all live there) But I
much more enjoy exploring all
the neat little places around
where I live. I love driving,
destination not required. I am
fairly adventurous, but often
I can't see the adventure
until I am quite thoroughly in
the middle of it. I also enjoy
knitting and playing sims and
sitting by my wood stove
reading. I have two dogs that aren't
mine and wouldn't be mine if
I had a say in things, but I
tolerate them, and I am
starting to like them. I have a cat
that I love dearly and also
makes finding an apartment more
difficult (She's an outdoor
kitty and only understands woods)
I am also a theater tech geek
and a gadget fiend. I love
figuring out how things work and
making them better. I am
rarely without my laptop or some
other wireless device. In the
theater I ran and designed
lights and did quite a bit of
scenic design and
construction/painting. I also have quite a bit
of empathy for writers as I'd
write but I haven't the
patience really for the completion,
but the ideas are
there..
Physicall y I am 5'6", I weigh
160 pounds, mostly in my
stupid chest and tummy, but eh,
such is life. I am fairly active,
but I don't do
Well, finishing college was
big.. as was going to New
Zealand for a semester, and
traveling all over the place last
summer on on my own with a
friend.. and going to Columbia South
America for spring
break was pretty big. I don't know..
I've done lots of things,
just they aren't as big in my
head as they are in other
people's.. I am trying to find my
place in the world..
I am generally attracted to
artists and creative folks.. I
am also generally attracted to
stubborn people who like to
argue and form strong opinions.
I like people with ambition
and a strong sense of
themselves, but who aren't afraid to
occasionally change plans and
have fun.. or just hop off to
Europe with me for a few weeks..
that's generally
entertaining.
