I was born and raised in the Northeast and love the lakes and mountains, as well as being close to the ocean.  Best of all worlds!  I would be open to moving to a similar location, as long as it shares the same basic elements.   I am active in my church and would like to meet someone who has the same fundamental beliefs and practices in that respect.  Being a spiritual single in the northeast is like living in a dry well sometimes... I think people get used to living in the hard areas and don't extend themselves much anymore; I don't want to fall into the same rut!   

I spend a significant amount of my time away from work volunteering for non-profit organizations.  I am active in several programs with my church and wildlife conservation programs.  Other hobbies include working with seeing eye, guard, and search and rescue K9's, historical renovation projects, and culinary arts.    When not involved with these, I enjoy researching natural health related topics, world affairs, business/finance related issues, and spending time with family and friends.  I have traveled out of the area a bit, and look forward to doing more.  As far as life accomplishments, I'm afraid I've left my own selfish gains and desires aside for a chance to store up tresures in heaven- and let me tell you, with my 30th birthday approaching, I am certainly struggling with afew of those ambitions!

I have a sincere interest for progressive learning, which would be one of the essential factors in meeting someone compatible which I would be unwilling to compromise on.  I do honestly appreciate romance...at the right time, with the right person.  While I do not expect to be taken care of or doted on, I do believe chivalry is a great way to display your appreciation for others, and is NOT gender specific!  I am open to meeting other singles in the area who may or may not be interested in dating... you never know, I might have a friend or he/she might!
