Hi there. I'm a 30-year-old lesbian and I live in Hunterdon County NJ with my 2 dogs.  I'm getting tired of being single, but hate bars and clubs, so here I am.   I voluntee r as a foster parent for shelter dogs, which means that I keep them in my house until we are able to find them a "forever" home.  I work as a flute teacher and a music therapist.  I bought my house about a year ago and am working on a bunch of half-finished home improvement projects.  I don't always know what I'm doing, but I've been told that I'm amusing to watch!  Some words I'd use to describe myself are honest, caring, compassionate, a good listener, funny, and intelligent. I love to laugh, hang out with friends, listen to live music (mostly singer-songwriter types), and hang out with my dogs.  I strive to find a balance between alone time, work time, and time spent with friends. I don't fit into the butch or femme stereotypes...  I own dresses but they're in the back of my closet and have been there for quite some time, and I don't wear makeup on a regular basis.  I can fix my own sink but I can also sew and cook.  I don't have a problem with it if you identify with either butch or femme, as long as you don't expect that I will.

Let's see, I own my home, it's a duplex and I live on one side, rent the other side out.  I'm a college grad, with a bachelor's in music therapy.  I'm sure there's more but I can't think of anything else at the moment, and I'm not big on bragging so I think I'm finished!

I usually connect most quickly with people who share my interest in dogs and/or music.  I am definitely hoping that an online conversation will lead to an offline friendship/relationship, but am not in any big hurry for that to happen.  I find intelligence and a sense of humor very attractive.
