My family is very important to me, as is my involvement in Kairos Prison Ministry. I have operated "Library Services of Albuquerque" since 1983. It's a unique business that allows me to work in many area professional offices, organizing and updating their professional libraries. I enjoy live theatre and/or symphony concerts. I also enjoy just sitting and watching the city lights at night from my patio. I find it relaxing. Of course, my cat, Beau chat, has some influence on my activities at home, since he's my only housemate.
I have 5 children: 2 sons, 3 daughters. One daughter lives nearby in Rio Rancho. The others are in various states across the country. I have 5 granddaughters and 3 grandsons. Only one grandson is nearby. So I miss the joys of grandparenting, though my daughter in Vermont keeps in close touch, including videos and pictures.My involvement in church activities is an important part of my life. I belong to First United Methodist Church, Albuquerque, and enjoy singing in their Chancel Choir. I'm also active in the UMW and Emmaus organizations. I was recently commissioned a Stephen Minister with 5 others in our church.I enjoy working in my yard, trying to give it some character and interest. My home is only 2 years old and needs to have some landscape development. As I can, I'm working at that.
I'd like to meet/spend time with someone who shares many of my interests. Of course, I'm receptive to new activities/interests as well.
