Wow what makes me tick? The great outdoors - not that I am a tree hugging naturalist or anything like that but I do love to go hiking in the mountains around my house and enjoy nature. Then for a break I take out my RUMI, and do a little searching. If you are unfamiliar with Rumi - he is a 13th century mystical poet that takes you on a spiritual journey to find your way in life and where you belong in our universe. Now don't get me wrong I don't sit in orange robes and contemplate the quantum theories of spiritual easement - just trying to find me and where I fit into this ball revolving around the Sun - the third rock from the sun so to speak.I am an animal lover and work with animals in my business. To bring a family and their dog into coexistence is a beautiful thing. To teach a dog to behave properly makes them much happier beings in our world. I am a peaceful individual - live and let live. Where my politics may lean toward the conservative side fiscally - as far as social politics is concerned I could care less what you do with your life as long as it is legal, between consenting ADULTS and leave dogs out of it! (you were suppose to laugh at that last part)I am seeking permanence in a relationship. Someone who can, and is not afraid to, commit to one person for the long haul. If you have young children - cool. Never had one of my own and enjoy them immensely. I do have a "step" son, I just call him my son. I am extremely proud of him. He is 27 and a Gunny in the Marine corps. He enjoys what he does and has been deployed to the Middle East for over five years. I don't really worry about him - he is a Marine!I would hope to meet a very down to earth lady who knows what she wants out of life and is working at getting it. I am not it. I can help in many ways but I want you to be your own person.
I am a small business owner and a professional photographer as well. I recently closed my studio and just enjoy my four legged friends for now. Ah yes the quadraped - a most intresting animal. I have previously owned restaurants and worked as a Human Resources manager for a fortune 500 company. My goals now are inner peace - a great personal relationship with one of the opposite sex and general joy in life.
A lady of integrity who is physically active - but not a super work out queen! Someone with varied interests who is seeking someone to help complete her life not make it worth while. You should be confident but not pushy. A good sense of humour and know when someone is being sarcastic to prove a point! Illustrate the absurd by being absurd I have heard it put before. Honest and open - willing to discuss any matter that arises and not load them all up and shoot everything at once. The dreaded "Honey we need to talk" should be avoided at all costs - It makes us men very nervous and able to run like Carl Lewis!
