Since my separation & divorce, I have embarked on a journey of self discovery; I wish I knew then the things I know now... but I didn't...I do now though, and I am a much better & wiser person having been through the painful events of the past few years...
Have 5 adult children who in turn have 9 grandchildren, all have welcomed me in their homes as I have weathered some difficult times in the past few years...perhaps now life can begin anew, but I don't want to do it alone...a common hobby like golf would be quite beneficial...
In my business career, I dreamed of going to Australia & did; filed for a patent in electronics, learned how to weld, have been in high level executive positions...With my family, I have been a real father to my 5 children, have 9 grandchildren; I wanted to be a significant part of my childrens life and watch them grow up to be contributing members of our society, this has occurred and I am proud of them and stand in wonderment of how I was a part of their now successful lives...
Ideal person...has a sense of humor, can see the humor in situations where I don't...has an excitement for life, a spirit for adventure...can appreciate life from a larger perspective; can see the big picture or at least allow for its existence...is concerned about their appearance, but doesn't need to dress to kill...can give grace to her partner when he needs it...
