I'm 27 (will be 28 soon ).I moved to Las Vegas about 3 years ago and worked for the school district for a while before changing professions. Now I work for a nonprofit organization that works with homeless youth. I really enjoy kids but dont have any of my own, but maybe one day, so this job is great for me.
I really stink at this writing thing, but I have a warm bubbly personality, and it's safe to say that I have never met a stranger. So if things click between us, I have no problem at ending the email conversation quickly. It's easier to get to know someone in person, just a coffee or something with no pressure.
My tastes in music is very eclectic.. Bach and Mozart, to the Killers and Panic at the Disco, to Toby Keith and Big and Rich. I'm also an avid reader but I enjoy going to the movies or just hanging out with friends. I'm not much of a bar or club person, but every now and then a good party is just what I need.
Being from the south (and yes I still have a bit of an accent with certain words, but it's really strong after phone calls back home) I love to cook and just have fun.
Things are drama free, no family here in town, so I am really looking for a friend and companion that could turn into more.

A little of this a little of that.. I have a hard time talking about myself... but I would say my biggest accomplishment is the joy I find in my job.
Also, while I am not happy with my weight, I am in the process of changing that through diet, exercise and discipline
I have tried to do the dating scene here in Vegas, but it's just not me. Full of shallow self absorbed people who just want a quick and easy lay, that's not me either. I'm looking for a kind man who is intelligent, and has a good sense of humor. The ideal man would know what he wants out of life and is ambitious enough to make it happen but not aggressive, Spontaneous at times or willing to just curl up with a movie. Someone who could be my friend and see what happens.
