Even if you read all of this, you won't get to know that much about me. I'm much better at getting to know someone in person. Even then it still takes a while. I'm not a person who wears my heart on my sleeve. I have in the past; it resulted negatively. What I want is a special and unique person to share myself with, someone to appreciate all that I am while I appreciate the essence of who they are. I love to go out, but I love to stay in just as much. I've done a lot of traveling in my life. I have visited eight different countries and would love to visit more. One thing I absolutely cannot stand is excuses. What I mean by that is; if there is a reason for plans or expectations to be changed, please just be as straight up as you can possibly be in expressing your explanation on the matter. That's all I really ask for. I consider myself a spirtual person with ideas, because beliefs are way too set in stone. I need to have an open mind and consider all the possibilities of Why We're Here and such. I do find the Catholic religion beautiful in their rituals, their beliefs in the saints and the Holy Mother Mary (I have her tattooed on my left hip, a permanent souvenir from Ireland), and the deeply ceremonial masses. What you believe in or don't is completely your own. I will respect you and never try to change you in any way if you respect me and do the same. I'm a smoker although I smoke well under a pack a day. I don't mind not smoking at all, if that's what someone requests. Just as long as they don't ask me in a way that implies that they think they are above me because they are a non smoker. I make my own choices and so does everyone else. A guilty pleasure of mine is being a total Buffy the Vampire Slayer addict, it's  such an amazing show and I love everything about all 7 seasons.

My proudest accomplishments include graduating from high school, since it was (and I think this is a little true for everyone) such an awkward, painful, and socially brutal time in a person's life. I disagree with anyone who says they should be the best years of your life, because if that is so, then is it just all downhill from then on? The high school star quarterback usually ends up hanging out in the local bar with his buddies reminicing about the good old days, and the high school geek/nobody usually ends up being like Bill Gates, and sometimes married to a super model. Ever notice how often that is true? I am very proud of the fact that I'm doing very well with my online Medical Transcription course, which I should have completed by the end of summer. I always feel good at the end of a work day, because I always try to do my best. I am proud of all the travelling I have gotten to do, but I want you to ask me about that if you're interested. I'm proud of the fact that I am able to spend money without feeling guilty, because I know how to save money just as well. After working hard to accomplish a goal I always like to reward myself whether it's with a good meal, new clothes, going out to a movie, or just time off from all chores and work to watch movies and veg out. I try to balance out work and play as much as possible.  I am very proud of my travels around the world, and also the travels I've taken inside my own head.

I would love to meet someone who doesn't feel like they have to front about who they really are. Nothing turns me off more than someone who is trying to be someone they are not. I don't need to meet anyone who only puts half their efforts into maintaining friendships; as in someone who only calls their "friends" when they are in need. I want to meet someone who brings out a little more spontaneity in me. I don't want to be anyone's saviour, I want somebody who can coexist with me comfortably. Appearance is of secondary importance to me, but I do appreciate beautiful eyes, skin, and all over cleanliness. I need someone who feels confident about their looks, whatever they may be like. Please, I don't want someone who needs constant reassurance of their beauty, that's such a turn off. Being yourself is as sexy as you can get. I believe that sex is something that should be at least slightly discussed before diving into, so no one is left feeling uncertain about the basics. I consider myself a passionate lover, I don't hold back when I am in bed with someone I love. I strive to please because pleas ing my partner is what gets me off the most.
