I am a busy professional arts administrator of a leading New York City Women's Arts Organization. I am a self ascribed foodie, and you could definately say that I am food obsessed. I love reading about food, eating out, cooking, reading about food and shopping for food.

I also live for the art world. It's my job, my love, my hobby and something that's fascinated me from an extremely early age. I cannot get enough of the art world gossip and can talk about women artists forever. I am also a semi-practicing artist and arts instructor.

I love concerts, theatre, movies, music of all kinds - especially Rock, Jazz, World & Classical. I am also a great fan of Arthurian Literature and am currently writing a novel based on that. I am a passionate reader. Most of my collection of books includes books about King Arthur, Art Books and Cookbooks.

I am well traveled having been to China, Tibet, Italy, France, England, Ireland, Austria & Germany. My travel wish list includes Wales - especially the Lynn Peninsula, Italy again for the food and the art, France & Alaska.

I also live and breathe New York City. I grew up here and I expect that it's where I'l live for the rest of my life. The first thing I read every day is the Metro Section of the New York Times. Where else do you have access to so many cultures, art is on practically every corner, if you know how to look for it and even if you don't.

I have a BFA in Painting from Long Island University, Southampton Campus. I did post-graduate work in Graphic Design and Advertising and Art Education at the School of Visual Arts. My best educational experience was acheiving a Certificate in Arts Administration from New York University.

My most recent notable acheivement is a Certificate of Merit from the New York State Assembly, presented to me by Cathy Nolan, the local New York State Assembly Member for the district where my job is.

I am a member of the Visual Arts Project at ASTRAEA Lesbian Foundation for Justice, am a member of the College Art Association, ArtTable, National Sculpture Society, New York Artists Equity Association,

I have been written about in Newsday, Crains NY Business, and numerous local papers in Queens.

I am looking for a woman who has strength of mind and body- and perhaps a bit extra body . . . . An understading of the creative spirit is absolutely necessary. I interact with creative people the best. I also think that understanding, caring, forgiveness and mutual appreciation are essential.
