I am a kind, caring, honest, warm individual. I am unselfish to a fault. I am involved in a lot of volunteer work and enjoy helping others. I am very non-confrontational. I usually go with the flow unless some thing is very uncomfortable for me. I have been told that I am a really special person because I am beautiful inside and out. My soul is the most important quality I possess. I am extremely intelligent, but have friends at all educational levels. I am not judgmental unless a person is rude, arrogant, and affected. I have many interests and am extremely curious.
I find that this is very difficult to do. I never won the Olympics, never starred in a Broadway play, etc. I did go back to college when I was 36 and graduated at 40 (while raising 2 children, maintaining a home, dating, etc.). I passed the CPA exam and became the first person working in a medium sized CPA firm who started working as a para-professional and ended as a CPA. I raised my 2 children to the best of my ability and overcame many obstacles being a single parent. My second husband and I owned 3 homes outright before he passed away. I was asked to run for the local school board, but turned down the offer as it occurred while I was still in school at night.
I would like to meet someone who is not a phony, someone who is honest and caring. My ideal date would not play headgames with me or anyone else. I do not take hostages and would expect my date to maintain the friendships that are important in their life - be it male or female. I am self-confident enough that when a man tells me that he loves me, I trust him implicitly. I do prefer people that are sincere, who can say what they mean without being mean, and are genuine.
